Wow! What high praise! I really appreciate the kind words.

I have to admit, the WSOP Photo Blog has come out even better than I had imagined. It helps that the players really trust me to get that close and not disturb them (like Phil Ivey and Maria Ho), a trust I've built up by reporting year-round for the WPT and covering WSOPs since 2004.

I'm glad you liked the Maria Ho photo; that's my personal favorite. I've wanted to do a shot like that for years, but it's been pointless until now. If you don't run the photo large (most poker sites run them small), that photo won't have nearly the same impact. Thank Sebok & Co. for understanding what we wanted to do, and allowing us the freedom to do it.

I discuss some of the thoughts behind the Photo Blog in a thread in the Poker Road Forums:

Oh, I should be fair and mention how I found your blog -- I have a Google Alert set up for my own name, just so I know whenever I show up on the web somewhere. But it's rarely to find something as nice as this. Thanks again!
