The Poker Hall of Fame is a virtual Hall of Fame made up of the poker world’s most influential players and other important contributors to the game (ie. media figures). The Poker Hall of Fame typically elects one or two new members annually. It was established in 1979 and is currently owned by Harrah’s Entertainment who purchased it in 2004 along with the World Series of Poker.
